Question Need help Identifying 2 older modchips and what they are for.

I have 2 old modchips that were purchased about 2 years ago. Not sure where from, but would like to know if they are any good and what systems they are for. They are both 8 pin Mods and look like the makers name on them is an M in a Circle. They are very small about 1/2" by about 3/8". the #s on the first one are;12C508A 04/P02T 0042. The second #s are: 12C508A 04/P 3G1 0012.

Just would like to know if these are any good and if they are for the PS2 or just the PS1.

Thanks
POOK

Being 8 pin they will be ps1 chips. In my original grey ps1 there is a chip like that.
There aint any 8 pin ps2 chips out.

Or they may be for another console?

oh well, hope that helps
