I know nothing about this new codebreaker. I stopped using the codebreaker long ago when it just quit working on my PS2. Codebreakers have never worked right on my PS2, they boot 10% of the time and do nothing 90% of the other. Now my codebreaker just gathers dust because it wont even load up on my PS2. So I would not recommend getting a code breaker, but if you just have to buy one, get it from their website www.pelicanperformance.com
