boxplorer on my xbox hdd

Can someone help me with copying boxplorer onto my HDD so i do not have to keep booting up my disc?
Is this possible? Because i find ftp-ing not an option and that cd/rws more comfortable than connecting to my xbox

This is what i was thinking of doing:
1. Copying an edited evox.ini, overwriting the one in c drive.
This edited ini file will somehow have a command that adds an apps folder in the evox menu (im yet to figure out how).
2. With a boxplorer boot disc, transfer the boxplorer files onto c drive and magically be able to boot boxplorer from evox dash menu.

Tell me to shut up if this sounds totally impossible and noobish.

Quall999 is on a distinguished road
0. Press start. Go into the "E" drive in boxplorer
1. Press White and choose "create folder" (might be "new folder").
2. Name the folder "Apps", then go into it.
3. Press white again, and create a new folder, name it "boXplorer". Make sure your in the "Apps" folder.
4. Press R. Select the "D" drive.
5. Press L, make you way into the "boxplorer" folder, if your not in there already.
6. Press R, you should be in the D drive. Select the Media folder, and default.xbe (with X).
7. Press White, the go to copy. Confirm.

Boxplorer should show up in the apps submenu (with your ini file set up like it is, in that other post.)
