How do I copy eeprom off new unmodded xbox? Need to find a good tutorial. This will help greatly in fixing a ban xbox.

Im also pretty sure that if you have 2 xbox's with the same eeprom, 1 xbox will either render useless or the eeprom will be banned.

No I wanted to know the steps to copying eeprom file off of an unmodded, no modchip xbox. Not one on a mod xbox.
Do I have to use some sort of game exploit like MA to do that and if so what are the steps?

I guess i edited my post too late.

Anyways, yah, you have to do an exploit. With the exploit, you either have to load up a signed version of "Eepromer", or use pheonix bios loader to load up a hacked bios as if a modchip were there.

yeah tell him that, because i need also a new eeprom.bin file. I've got one not modded xbox. And i have one xbox modded but banned form live.

it is too complicated to explain. Go to xbox-scene.com and look at the tutorials for exploits. That will tell you how to run programs without a chip.

Also, i suggest you just use your other xbox for online play. that way there is no chance of being banned again.

I know this is a bit off the subject but, when you softmod, does it make your Xbox as if its modded? This is a n00b question i know but, can you then do the same things as if it were modded, ex:Connect it to your network and backup your games.

yah, as long as you use pbl to load some hacked bios (which is what the softmod does). However, I suggest you do the newest method. It uses the xbox live tab in the xbl dash to load the exploit. This removes the stupoid clock loop, and also lets doesn't have a side effect like the audio exploit.

Maby a stupied qeustion, but is it possible to change de hdd from a unmodded xbox to a modded xbox? And read then the eeprom.bin?
