Urgent...Compressing Mpg files

Is there a program that I can use to shrink the size of a mpg file to 700 mb for a cd?

It is kind of urgent...thanks

Zip it or rar it. Either should help out a lot. If you rar it you can split it to certain sizes of rar files. That way you can break it up into 2 or more cds if necessary.

The good thing about that is you wont loose quality after youve uncompressed them.

I was asking if the time it was telling me it would take was right..(1 1/2+ hr.)..but now it says about 30 min. So nevermind, again.

Depends on the size of the mpg file and the speed of your PC. But I would guess its about right.

lol, yeah..It's all done now though :sigh:. Thanks. I hope to be back up and running in a hour or so.
