Need For Speed Underground Fix Doesn't Work

Hi

i have just signed up today. i just brought NFSU for my pc went to the download section of gamecopyworld for NFSU no cd fix 1.0 and the 1.1 patch i tried both patches for the game but they don't work on the game. please can you help or is there going to be a updated patch if you can help me.
