XIII backup question
what with all the posts about this game and it's equivalent cracks, I'm a little confused. I am thinking of buying this game, but would like to be able to make a backup, so I would be glad if anyone that has the game could answer these questions.
1.Do the Fairlight files work? Many people say thay are incomplete. 2.Will the game install from a back up? 3.If I install from a back up, use the Fairlight files with the backup cd in the drive, will I get the 'Want the magnetic card, then buy the game' messages? Basically what I'm saying is can you Install, play and finish the game from backups? If you can't then there's no point in making a backup is there? |

2. Yes it will, if you do a working CD it will install from the backup. 3. No you wont if you use the second fix, that's avible at GCW. Note: You can't make a perfect 1:1 copy! |

Does anybody have it crash right after the opening movie where the helicopter flys over? I can't get past that point. I'm using the no CD from GCW.
The links for the file archives don't work from GCW. Do I need all of them? |
