macrovision

is it possible to disable macrovision on a ps2 as i have a new panasonic emr 50 recorder and i would like to do some backup of my movies (cheers )

Its easier to do on a PC. Just use something like AnyDvd or any of the various decrypters to take off macrovision.

But if you absolutely have to do it via ps2 then you would need to have a certain chip that disables it. Im not sure of any that do that currently. Maybe the DMS.

DMS3 does disable macrovision. Or you can just buy one of these

Use DVD Decrypter using defaults... You shouldn't have any probs.... And best of all ...It's FREE....
