DVD backup problems!
I am backing up my DVD's ok using Clone DVD any Any DVD. However, when I play the backup I get 'freezing' and a large areas of squares. I am using Pioneer DVR-106D, WinXP Pro (Service Pack 1), 640MB DDR, 120GB H/D, Athlon 1700XP and BulkPaq Orange discs. Several times now when reading a disc the pc has crashed and rebooted! Is there a known problem with this writer? If so can anyone recommend any other writer? Thanks in advance.

Bulkpaq orange cds are cheap and nasty disks, try a different dvdr such as the ritek dyes.

I use bulk paqaq orange 4xspeed DVD-r and have never burned a coaster yet
However, I use smart ripper to rip dvd to one to shrink size and copy to dvd to burn. |

Use DVD X Copy, it can burn to +R(W) and -R(W) disks. I use it and it works perfect (Other then the "Force DVD-Rom booktype" option on Platinum, I can't get it to enable)
