My original Zero Hour CD got thrashed, so I'm trying to use my backup copy here... I install the original game from the original CDs, then try to run the backup Zero Hour install. I get this error right when it starts to copy files:
Error -1610: The configuration data for this product is corrupt. I've tried new directory names, looking through the registry to see if maybe there's old pathnames, etc. Anyone else figure out how to solve this? I'm thinking either a registry issue, or I have a corrupted backup copy...

Get a replacement CD as soon ASAP. Makes life easier if your backup is on the fritz.

.
It was a registry problem. There was a key that still had the old installation directory in it, so I deleted every key that had the string 'zero hour' in it... now it works.
