Generals No CD Crack, help.. My cd BROKE!!

My Command and Conquer Generals cd 1 just recently broke and I cannot figure out how to use the No CD Crack for C&C: Generals v1.7 I do not understand what I am supposed to do when the instructions say... Replace the original GENERALS.EXE executable with the one from the File Archive. I would apreciate someone's help! Not that much of a computer guy need step by step instruction plzz!!
