"CD checked out from Library"

I'm new so please don't ban me if i say something wrong, "Just tell me so i can learn please" >>>I have checked the Hoyle Card Game 2004 out from the Library a few times and played it on my computer. In the "Read Me Files" it has instructions on "Copying the CD contents to your hard disk". They say to make a temporary floder on my Hard Disk, install the game into it by "copy and paste" and then open the tempopary folder and click setup.exe, and follow the setup instructions. >>>Now comes the tricky part, Will this game now run without the CD?? And if so can i still play the game even tho I've returned the CD to the Library? Remembering that i can check this CD out as many times as i want, but it would be better for me to just play it off my hard disk.
You guys have a great forum here and thanks for letting me find help for my problems.
THANKS AGAIN
