DMS3- NTSC backups on PAL. DVD+R compatibility.
hi all,
I'm planning a DMS3 install on my V5/V6 PAL PS2. I'd like to know if DVD+R backups will work. (ie does the V5/V6 PS2 read DVD+R and DVD+RW formats) secondly, will NTSC backups/originals play correctly with the mod. Cheers, Bill

Generally v5/v6 supports +r/+rw media. You can play NTSC games fine if you have a tv that supports both pal and ntsc, if not you are going to have to patch your games or buy an expensive converter.

both myself and a couple of other mates have v5's, none have had any problems at all reading +R's.
