flashing executer 2 lite to 4977 bios

right now i have bios X2 4976.02 and wanted to upgrade cause some games dont boot up on my HDD. like nfl fever 2004 and such. i have searched for tutorials on how to flash my bios using evox but had no luck really. maybe im not typing the correct phrase or something. is there a tutorial that someone can point me towards. i went to system management and from there i went to system settings and from here i get lost cause some of the tutorials that i have read or not really clear and im having trouble trying to understand them. so if anyone can help me out then that would be great

There isn't a major improvement in the 4977 bios compared to the 4976.02 build. The only difference the 4977 has, is that it has a permanent eject fix, which you will notice if you have media player running and you press the eject button. In order to flash to this bios you basically create a folder named 'BIOS' on the root of the C:\ partition of your Xbox and copy it there from the your pc via your ftp program. In Evox, goto..system utils, Flash bios and select it from there

P.S What mod do you have?

Possible bad rip. Try copying it again to the PC then back to the Box. Or use Pxhdd loader V1.2a.

Another thing you might you might wanna try is to patch the media check on your games even if you have the latest bios, as i still patch my all my games manually. Use Craxtion 2.4 to do this..

i use pxhdd loader to transfer my games from the xbox tray to the xbox's HDD and thats why i am confused as to why some of my games dont load up. so im thinking i probably have to dump the game in my pc first, patch it up, and burn it onto dvd-rw and dump it using pxhdd loader.

I think pxhdd loader auto patch's the game when booting. Are you using the latest version? Your best bet really is to copy the game from your box to the PC, patch it up and copy it back to the box.

Copy it to the HD. Just make a folder named 'pxhdd_loader' and put to whatever partition you want to, i.e. C:, E: or F:

In my evox ini settings mine is set to following below:

}
Section "Apps"
{
# SortAll
AutoAddItem "c:\Applications\"

#

That way i just add programs to that path and they automatically appear with having to edit the ini your self, etc..
