Burning the game!

I am looking for advice (guidance) with burning ps2 game. I have already downloaded a few game to my hard drive using windows explorer. Those games are Splinter Cell, NightFire and GTA3. CDRWIN did not work for me at all know matter how hard I tried. Everyone recomends it in their forums having to do with "how to copy ps2 games". Anyhow, do I need to use a ps2 patcher before I create a image and do the files need to be in a image form before burning them? I'm confused I've read tutorials th
