Neverwinter Nights SOU Private Server/NoCD

This is my first first post to these forums so please excuse me for any ignorance I may have.

My wife and I have played NWN since it first hit the store shelves here in Missouri. It is indeed a fantastic game! We also play many other titles which is where the problem began.

The swapping of CD's became a major pain until I discovered the NoCD executables.

Recently we both purchased the NWN expansion packs and started using the 1.30 NoCD .exe files. We play exclusivly on our peer to peer network here in the house.

Recently we upgraded to the 1.32 .exe and then replaced those .exe's with the 1.32 NoCD version and are no longer able to play on the 1.30 server that was modified by slate.

The only way to continue to play on the 1.30 server is to replace the 1.32 NoCD with the 1.30 NoCD version.

Finally, Does anyone know or have an ETA if a 1.32 modified Server version will be available for download that works with the 1.32 NoCD patch?

NWN: Server version (i.e. build number) and client version always have to match.

But there is no problem at all to connect to an 1.32 server with an 1.32 client, if you have a legit key entered.

If you are using a faked key (i.e. a warez version) you have to do your homework by self. Hint: with basic knowledge of the organisation of the TCP/IP software on your hosts of your server, you can supress the check on nwnmaster.bioware.com.

Question has been asked often, lots of threads went closed or deleted.

Look velgair, you really have to own TWO copies of the game to legally play on a lan. If you have those, we can help you save the original discs from harm, but we can't really help you with the serial checks.
