Question Installing Games on larger HD after installing Slayers-Autoinst.

Hi there,
I want 2 backup my games on a bigger HD. I'm goin' to buy a 120gb (180 possible???). After buying I want 2 follow the slayer's-auto-install manual. Later on I have to build in the hd. At last I have to install all drivers and bios, I think the autoinstaller does this automatically. But what about backupping games on the larger HD? If I start up my modded xbox is there the old dashboard (original MS) or the modded evo X? After Copying the games by means of ftp on the hd is there no need to update the "gamelist"? Or can I simply install it and after that start the game simply out of the menu? Does the evox automatically refrehs the list?

THX and greetz from germany

Thx 4 taking trouble of (?)answering my questions.

What about EvolutionX_Build_3921 ,it says "easily upgrade harddisk and format/partition". Have I either 2 use slayers... or the new evo 3921???

Well, use evox to get the hdd key. Then use slayers auto install to partition the drive.

Yes, it is possible to have a 180 gig drive in your xbox, but if you ask me, it is not worth the trouble (much more has to be done). The xbox reads 137gb right now. 120gb should be just fine.

And slayers auto install splits the drives up, and also installs the original MS dashboard + the evolutionX dashboard. But depending on where you got your version of slayers, you might have to backup your original HDD first, then put it in the slayers installer.

hi,
how 2 get the hdd key? which hdd key (new hdd old hdd)? I have the slayer's auto install v. 2.4 (217,52mb; per emule). is this the newset, I think so! I'm going to install a 120gb hdd with 7200 rpm. But when do I have to install it? when am I allowed to change the hdds? First save all old files per ftp on my pc. Are you so kind as to write a step-by-step manual? just the first steps, the others are specified in the evo/slayer's manual. THX :-)
If I copied a game over to my new hdd, how to launch it, simply from a list like the evo? But if I now want to launch a new game I have to burn the new evox.ini (cfg?). there I have to write down the new parameters of the game (like d:\games\newgame\...). Does the evo update this ini file automatically when it's set as default bios on hdd??
