dvd burner life span
im just wondering how many dvds a burner could burn b4 it stops working i heard that a cd-r can burn into the 1000's then stop working i dont know if this is ture or not and thats why i wondering about the dvd-rs cause i know i burned a good 200 dvds with 1 burner

You never know with electronics. Some last for 50 burns while some last you several hundreds. You never know.

That's true bighap. Sometimes it also depends on the quality of the product. I would assume that a Sony or Pioneer burner, would be more reliable in terms of quality, then a lesser known, cheaper brand.

Thats why you always pay the little bit extra to get a pioneer or a sony dvd writer
