converting to xvid

i have some videos i want to canvert to xvid what is the best program to do it?

Virtualdub Mpeg2. Make suer you get a bitrate calc for XVID as well.

use smart ripper to rip the dvd then use dvdx to convert it to xvid

im not ripping dvds i have video files on my pc i want to be xvid but i found a way thats easy for me, make them mpeg 1 then use flaskmpeg to make them xvid
