Force Feedback In Madden 2004
Does anyone know how to add force feedback into '04? I downloaded the Madden 2000 demo a little while ago and played around with it. The force feedback really made playing more enjoyable. I think Madden '01 is the last version on PC with force feedback. I went to the main directory of 2000 and looked at some of the files that added the force feedback in the game. I found "IFORCE.dll(73.5KB)" and another named "msapi.dll(151KB). There are also many .dat files. Is there any way to somehow convert these files to make them work on Madden '04? Anyone that knows of particular programs that can be used to read these files (.dll , .dat),please give me a heads up. How can I get them to open in a readable format as opposed to how they look when opened with Wordpad? Force feedback would be great in '04.

erm it sounds like you really dont know what you're doing..
dll's are executable files, same as exe's to view them to edit you'll need a hex editor, to view them and understand what they're doing you'll need a disassembler (and knowledge of assembly)and you cant magically turn on force feedback on a game that mightnt actually support it in the first place, it definately wont be as simple as copying a few tiles over, that much i can assure you...

Yeah,I had a feeling that it would be more to it than that! I wish someone would take a crack at it though. You think you could?-lol You sound pretty inclined.

if i thought it was possible, then yep i'd give it a shot, but something tells me the coders didnt incorporate forcefeedback into the 2004 version, and puting it in would require a vast amount of work disassembling and modifying the exe that and researching force feedback coding.. so nope

Oh well,it was worth a shot. I sent an email to EA with concerns of performance asking them if they could implement force feedback into a future patch. Hopefully I will get a positive response back. Thxz for the info.
