Talking Which one to use?? Help!

Help! Im in the process of buying a DVD burner and i wondered what the opinion is of the sony DVD burners that do both - and + formats of cause. Im sorry i cannot remember the model numbers of these burners, also if anyone knows of any problems these ones have had a mention of that also would be good. Its awhile since i have last been on this forum but the general recomendation back then (early 2003) was the pioneer A05. Why i ask about the Sony - + burner is because a friend is able to get them for $400.

hehe i love this icon, reminds me of what my face looks like when ive had too many buds haha

BG is on a distinguished road
Alot of people STILL rec. the A05..... Me included.....

Unless you just want to spend the extra money on a -R/+R burner... (Which you dont need anyway)

Also note, Pioneer also has a dual format burner...

The A06......

I would personally just get the A05 since I have NEVER seen a reason to use the +R/+RW format...

But thats just my opinion.

I've got the A03 and A05. Dust persuaded me a couple of years or so ago. So let him persuade you too.
