wire size

I have a ver.4 ps2 and I just purchased a dms3 chip and I was wondering what size wire and type of solder to use. I have heard that for the ver.4 and older that it may take a different size wire. Thanks for any help!

wire:
32 awg for data
22 awg for power and ground

solder:
regular 60/40 rosin core solder, size: I use .047, but anywhere from .032 - .062 should work

I've always felt that 32AWG is way too damn small.

I use 26 for signal, 22 or 20 for power/ground/TP.

Oh, and make sure it's solid (not stranded) and insulated.

Oh good lord no, I never do the pins on those damn things. I do VIAs on the back. I guess if I _HAD_ to do those pins, I'd use 30 or smaller, yeah.

Heh.
