Network adapter not working with Apple

Is this a known issue?
Sorry .. I've been out of the loop for about a year now.

I have an apple on a v5 ps2. Tried to load the setup disk but it won't go. Trying to get NCAA2004 to play online.

Thanks

Try disabling your chip when booting.

Do you mean load it as it if was a PSX game?
AFAIK, you can't disable this chip.

I'll try the psx bootup

Yes you can disable the chip. I should know. I have the same chip. Disabling is different than booting a psx game. For a psx game you hold reset until the blue eject light comes on. To disable the apple, hold reset for about 5 seconds, or about when you see the Sony screen with the annoying noise.

Thanks for the tip bro, it worked!!

But when I load up NCAA 2004 for online play it gives me an error: DNAS Error -402. What is that?

I owe you a beer!!

Sounds good. You can not play a backup of NCAA Football 2004 online due to new protections. You must use your original and disable your chip.
