Serious Help Needed
Hey i am running a Version 7 ps2 chipped with a magic3..It has worked flawlessly until now when i tried to put a switch in... I scred sumthing up so i pulled it all out!! now when i start my ps2 nothing happens...The greeen lite goes on but the blue lite wont go on
i checked all wires/ribbon cables!!! Any ideas?

if this is how it acts after removing the chip...
- make sure there is no damage done to the ps2 on any of the connection points (or anywhere else for that matter) - make sure there is no bridging on the bios chip, use desoldering braid to clean the chips legs - if all looks good on the motherboard you might have blown a fuse. to fix this you just need to find the blown one and replace it. to find the blown fuse simply use a multimeter (set a 200 ohms). the reading you get should be between 0 and 0.3 ohms anything else is a blown fuse. a list of fuses can be found here (you might need to register)
