yes is there any way to hide a ip address and have the pc to put out a fake one so when u log onto places u would be seen with the fake ip instead of the real ip ??

This is REALLY off topic.
The answer is "yes", it's called anonymous proxy, but it's not as good protection as you think, because any law enforcement agency can still find you. - Gurm |

i dont do anything illegal besides d/l mp3s which i heard there makeing it a felnoy to do so which is a bunch of bs

You can oly get busted if you are sharing mp3s for download.

You just hunt up an anonymous proxy server, and set IE to use it as a proxy.
But finding one... that's the tricky part. You could pay money for a product called A4 Proxy that finds 'em for you and sets 'em up for you... but doing some searching on the web might be cheaper. - Gurm |
