Backups on Xbox Live...
I read somewhere that it is possible to play backup games on xbox live. The article I read said that all you have to do is first boot the game with your modchip on and after the game has booted up, turn off your modchip (while the power is still on). Xbox Live will not be able to recognize the modified bios because you will currently be powering the microsoft bios and also the game will work because it has already booted up.
However, I do not know if this is true. If anyone does know or want to try it let me know how it goes. |

That will work but you will be banned after about 10 seconds
The xbox will be running the chip bios still even tho you turned it off.

Oxfam is right. With the modchip turned on when you boot your XBox it looks to the modchip for the BIOS to load. Once its has pulled the BIOS from the chip it will boot.
Now even if you turn your modchip off after its booted the XBox still loaded the "hacked" BIOS when it booted, so its still running on them.
