Question Fifa Football 2002

Hi,

I've a question regarding Fifa Football 2002 for PS2.
When I copy this game it starts in my ps2. It takes a while with the memory check and if it gets past that it hangs during the loading screen.

How can I resolve this.
Is it something with de dvd-r or with the burn program or do I need a patch for this game.

I use RecordNow DX with a Sony Dru 500

Can anybody help me!!!

Thnx,
Roefje

It's probably just a bad burn. Also, do NOT copy things on-the-fly, make a Global Image first. Just burn at 1x and see if that helps...

I made a Global Image using RecordNow DX and then I burned it on 1x speed. I did this 3 times and every time the same thing.
It hangs during the screen "Checking the memory card (PS2)..."
or during the loading screen.

I'm using Nashua DVD-R and I have version 4.60 of RecordNow DX.
Every other game has gone well only this one is getting on my nerves.

I was wondering if I could try a DVD+R as well or doesn't that work with the PS2.

Stick to -R if you have a v4 or below. v5 and above sshould be OK. I think it may be a bad media you have gotten. If you're console is a v5 and above and you're +R media is of good quality then by all means use it instead. I think it may be the quality of DVD-R. Get some Ritek next time (Datasafe, Traxdata, Ritek) and try these...

Let us know how you get on...

Probably because their +R media is better quality...
