Fast disc speed and improved texture with a mod-chip?

Does fast disc speed and texture something (dont remember the right name...) work with mod-chips? I`m a bit n00b to mod chips and as far as i`ve gotten it right some load the game instantly bypassing any chance of turning these options on. I`m especially wondering about the DMS3 mod in this case.

i would think any chip that can boot from the browser will let it work. if you have one that can but in silent hill and see if these 2 things happen

1) they talk faster then they should

2) you can see snow around the dogs corps in the ally at the begining

I don't know about you, but my PS2 saves these settings unless I kill the power using the switch on the back.

So ... yes, my Apple is compatible with them.

Aside from my M2, my NH3 can boot those extra settings after discovering a little trick. When you press reset twice, have the disk in already on the second reset, then change and load from the browser.

Seriously, am I the only one whose settings get retained?

It saves those things, you know... by default.
