AVI to MPEG1 (VCD) Conversion

I just downloaded "Fight Club" in DivX, Letterbox, format and I'm trying to find a conversion program to convert it to MPEG1 (VCD) format without screwing up the aspect ratio. Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried every aspect ratio setting on TMPGEnc and none of them worked. HELP!

AVI to MPEG! conversion

Thanks for your reply. I downloaded a copy of Ulead DVD movie factory 2 and didn't see any adjustment for aspect ratio. Will it convert AVI to VCD in the same ratio, even though it loks out of format on the preview screen?

I believe it keeps the same ratio. The mpegs I burned of the Matrix Reloaded kept the same ratio.

I've got a copy of "The Usual Suspects" in letterbox format and when it made the conversion it stretched it out to almost full screen. Any other programs you can suggest? Thanks
