Neverwinter Nights audio problems

I was curious as to whether or not some of you guys have experienced problems with the sound when using the 1.30 NOCD by myth. I've tried copying all my sound files over on to my HD from my play disc, but that doesn't seem to work.

BTW, the game runs perfectly fine except for the fact that the audio is absent.

I've tried to search through these forums in order not to be those one post newbies who just register to have their question answered... but I could not find a solution anywhere.

edit: I'm using the 1.30 no cd fix for SoU.

So, does the audio work if you use your original cd and no crack ?

It did before I applied the crack... but now even with the original it won't.

Just curious as to whether or not anybody had this problem, because it would be a bear to reinstall everything again... which is probably what I'm going to have to do.

I think you might better reinstall, since a crack that causes audio to disappear would not be released for five seconds without being nuked If it's still giving the same trouble, you might want to use the securom profile in Alcohol120% to make an image and mount that.

Odd that a crack would trigger it.
Latest Direct X installed?
Latest sound drivers installed?
Try different sound settings in the NWN config?
Try different sound settings in-game?

Sounds have been an issue for people at the bioware forum. While not the same as your prob, you might mess around with they have been.

Yes to all of the above. I finally just reinstalled the game and it works fine now. Maybe it just doesn't like my computer.
