Need help

My Lite-on cd writer and my Pioneer A-05 dvd writer will arrive soon, so i need to ask sumetin:
How should i allocate them???

Heard that the pioneer needs to be set up as master so it works better, but how about the liteon? set it up as master too???

heres what i been thinking:

Primary Master: Pioneer
Primary Slave: ----
Secondary Master: Liteon
Secondary Slave: Samsung HD

Will this work ok???? and which slot should i place which one???
would the pioneer be better in the second slot?? heard they use more energy to work, giving it more air flow then the liteon

Im gonna use the pionner only for burning dvd backups (mainly PS2 ones) and the liteon for cd writing (ps1 and other stuff) and reading

thx in advance

No I wouldn't do that. Your HD should be primary master. Do this:

Primary Master: HD
Primary Slave: Lite-On
Secondary Master: A05
Secondary Slave: -----

Or, if you have a nice fast and stable bus, you can do what I do:

Primary Master: HDD 0
Primary Slave: HDD 1
Secondary Master: Liteon DVD-ROM
Secondary Slave: Plextor DVD Burner

P.S. Your mileage may vary. I recommend STARTING with the configuration Bighap recommended.

P.P.S. My machine is an Athlon XP 1800+ system with a SiS chipset. SiS is VERY stable nowadays, which is why I can get away with the above configuration.
