Sim's Superstar crash solution

"ok everyone i've finally found a fix for the sims superstar problem that everyone's been having(the 1 where it sends you back to the desktop) and heres how to fix it!!

1)first of all if u haven't installed the sims superstar lucky for you but if you have then you have to uninstall all of ur sims and expansions then clean it out with the sims eraser.

2)after uninstalling. install all the sims and all expansions except for superstar! before installing the sims superstar make sure to copy the "sound.far" file)from files/maxis/thesims/expansionshared/soun - d/)because - the 1 on the cd is corupt then make sure to store it in a safe place. to be on the safe side also copy and store the Program FilesMaxisThe SimsMusicModesLoadloadloop.wav.

3) finally you get to install the sims superstar. once installed move the 2 files back to its original postion and start the game!

4)the game should be able to get past the intro but if you go into the studio town and it doesn't do anything when u click on the icons make sure to download the devience crack and it should work!!
