Splinter Cell Read Errors and slow dump Q,.

I am at the moment dumping an image of Splinter Cell CD3 with Alcohol 120% (newest version) using the SafeDisk 2 option.

It has now been going for about 1 hour and it just came to 2%. The block/speed 5072(9.9mb)/0.1X.... And im getting heaps of disc read errors.

My question is: Does anybody know how many disc read errors are on the Splinter Cell CD3?
Have I done something wrong since its going so f**king slow?
Should I stop the process now or let it continue(hopefully someone will answer soon... )?
Will I be able to get a 1:1 copy with my burner?
Are there any other suggestions to making a 1:1 copy??

Thanks guys!

Specs:
Athlon 1.2gh
CDrw sony crx140e
Alcohol 120% (newest)
Radeon 9100 128 ddr
512 md sdram

wait patiently.

read errors are totally normal for safedisc protection!

next time you dump an image check the option 'fast error skip'.
if you did and it is still crawling then your drive does not support this feature.

Maybe your device does not support fast skip error blocks. It is necessary to have this option ticked, if you want the protection intergrated read errors to be bypassed quickly.

BTW, you writer doesn't support correct efm encoding. Try enabling bybass efm error when writing, but I think you get problems anyway (due to your writer).

Edit:

Yes the read speed will improve after the read errors.
For Safedisk games the read errors are between sectors ~800-10000
You may also want to try Daemon Tool's 'Fast Dump' feature to speed up the reading of the errors. Read the online Daemon Tools manual on their website for more information.
