Halo Trainer

I downloaded a PAL halo trainer and in the readme file it says:

"If you keep all your games on DVD and dont feel like burning a new backup then just patch the default.xbe with the patch xxxxCD.ips and 'execute' the default.xbe from the HDD with the HALO DVD in the disk drive."

What default.xbe file am i meant to patch? Also how do I patch it?

the default.xbe is the xbox executable. If you browse the Halo game, there should be something called "default.xbe". This is the file you need to patch. To patch it, you have to have a program such as winIPS. If you browse xbox-saves.com, there should be some kind of ips patcher uploaded.

If you want to use the patch you described above (the one that is used if you don't want to burn a new dvd), you have to run the halo default.xbe (patched) off the HDD, and have the halo dvd in the dvd-rom.
