What version PS2 do I have?
Sorry if this question seems silly, but I'm just starting out and I'm not sure what PS2 I have. The model # is 30001. Also if anyone could recomend a mod chip. Thanx for helping this super newbie.

This has been answered a billion times. You can check here. For future questions try using the search button first. Messiah 2 is the best chip, but it might not be a good idea to mod your old ps2, especially if it is a v1-v3, because they had crappy lasers.
