Can someone help me please.
I have the film 'The Ring' on Dvd region 1. I made a copy of it onto 2 cds using DVDXCopy. But when i went to play it it kept stopping and would only play certain parts of it. I've been told that region1 films have some sort of protection on them so you can't copy then if you live outside of the region1 area. Not sure if thats true or not. Can anyone tell me which software would be good to make a backup of this film or if i need to get some sort of hack to get it to work. My stand alone DVD player is region free. My DVD burner is a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R5002 I am aslo running windows me if this helps in any way. And live in UK so mostly our DVDs are Region2 I'm despaerate to get this film backed up thanks in advance littleoz |

Were you multitasking while burning or have any other apps running and what brand media did you use? You might have to have your dvd-rom set to region 1 or region free as well.
