patching games???????

Ok I got a question I just got my xbox and gettting it modded this week but what I keep getting conflicting stories about is the games patches. Here is my setup cendyne(pioneer104) and recordnow max version 4.5 is there any way to just make an exact copy and not have to do any patching please help me on this I have never done any patching before I have burnt many of pc games with alcohol120% with many different protections but I have never did any of the patch stuff. One more question all this xbox stuff seems complicated is it just me, will it be very hard to learn this stuff? Thanks in advance.

dude don't worry once you have the game in a temp folder on your pc fire up a programme called copyhaunters.xbe patcher v 2.0
select brouse and select the default.xbe file for your game and any other.xbe files / once you have selected the .xbe file press ok/patch.

job done then burn to dvd

you can get the patcher from here but you have to register to access the download section.

I would just suggest when you get your chip flash it with the new BIOS and skip patching them.

problem is i can't pass up a bargin, bought the xbox modded with x-ecuter 1.0 and unmodded xbox from a friend for (wait for it i'm serious)

£80.00 the guy must be nuts but i'm not complaining got 2 working xbox's for practically nothing.

yep i would have to be seriousley stupid to pass on a bargin like that considering i bought my first xbox on the day of it's launch,
for £365.00

only had 1 controller and halo.
but it was worth every penny now i'm a xbox junky and proud of it too

Yep, I know that all to well.

I was so pissed Halo didn’t come out for the PC like they said it would, so I went out and bought every thing on the first day.
I don't have that XBox any more, some thing broke in it and I got a new one. But my buddy still has his original one, made on Oct 31st 2001 no less...

I wish I had a digal cam, I would love to take a pic of the date.
Just an odd date for some thing to be made on.

yeah i still have my original xbox.
gets used mainley for dvd's now the thought of selling that one considering how much i paid for it and the current xbox price just makes me feel sick . looks like i'm gona take that one to the grave if it lasts that long that is.
