Cheap Analog Controls

I heard that the cheap analog controls and memory cards mess up yout playstation is this true and also i am looking for a stealth mod chip for playstation schp7501 what is the best site and what is the best chip and also what does a ppf patch do and i keep hearing about making them how do i make them on a mac and also i was using cd copy 2.0.3e to make a backup and on i had it on default settings like it is suppose to be but it says adjust all tracks to track at once do i click adjust tracks or do i say no.another question if a have a multi track game when i burn it using toast after i add the disk image and the audio tracks do i click write sesson first then let it burn then click write disk after?I know this is kinda a lot of questions but i am new to this and i would appreciate help please thanks

The old digital Performance brand controllers draw too much power and blow little surface mount
microfuses on the PSX motherboard. It's an easy fix for any soldermonkey that can use a multi-
tester. I fixed a few PSX with this problem and modified a Controller to draw less power by
adding resistors to the power wire.

I would think they fixed the problem by now. I have a cheap Interact PS2 Shock analog controller
and it has not blown my PSX yet.

The best chips are the Multi mode 3 chips, when soldered in 7 wire mode, I have not found an
antimod yet that could detect this chip. If you are in North America you can get one very
