Hello there,
EasyCd Creator will not handle the protection on most commercial games.
U need something like CloneCD to make perfect 1:1 copies.
Get yourself a copy from ####://www.elby.de
Use ClonyXL together with this & u should be able to backup most games.
U can get this from ####://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_utils.shtml
Go to CD Identifying Utilities section.
Or post wot burner ya have & the good man Crispy said he will sort ya out.

Hope this helps.

hey,if you live in usa then you can't select the amplify weak sectors until you change you region(somewhere in europe) on the control panel!this happens because in usa the laws about copying cds are very strict!so you should just change your region and you will find the amplify weak sectors option where you choose your write speed etc.

hope i helped!

Hi, one tip here, you should also use BetaBlocker to fix the bad sectors which are part of the SD2 protection. I have made a working copy of a SD2 protected game using Clony to dectect the protection, then I use CloneCd (the newest version) and use the settings Clony gives me for CloneCd. In CloneCd I read at 4x, make an image file on my hard drive. Then I copy BetaBlocker to the same folder as the image file, start BetaBlocker and drag the image file into the little window of BetaBlocker, push "muster suchen" it's in german I think, and the program scannes for bad sectors, then I push the other button Muster ändern and you will have an altered/fixed image file. Then you burn the image file to a cd using CloneCd with amplify weak sectors ticked! and if you are lucky you will have a working copy of your game. If the game does not work that way, you can always get a fixed exe file for the game or make one your self with unsafedisk (just use safediskanalyser to check the version) and then you install the game and change the exe file of the game for the fixed one. If that does not work you can always install an emulator like playbackup to run in the background so you can play protected gamecopies easily with out any modification.
Hope this helped,
Good luck,
Sera from Iceland

just say that read speed is not quite important....if u have a cloneCd burner u can read at max speed and the data will be still there...including protections.......just an example.....harry potter, battle realms or settlers 4 WITHOUT atip check (less first..harry)...was read at 24x (my hd can't handle more data speed due a via chipset issue) and burned at 16x (cd) and no probs....like original.........only one more thing.........i have 384 SDRAM....
