2X Media Burning Problem
Hi All,
I have a A04 which is 2x DVD burning, recently I used some 2x media to backup my PS2 game. I set the burn speed to 1X in Record Now Max 4.50 and then press the record button, the time shows about 60 minutes to complete the burn. However then the after the first few megabytes r burnt the time changes by half. so the burn will take only 30 minutes now. It seems that it is burning at 2X even though i specified 1X. I am using firmware 1.40. Does anyone know whay this is happening? Regards, Slats

It was probably the 2X media. Unless it was also rated for 1X then it will not burn at 1X.
