dvd-r backup problems
I have just backed up Spiderman using RecordNow Max on my Pioneer AO5 burner using Verbatim dvd-r. The problem is when i try to load the game in my NEO4 modded PS2. I have followed the proceedure from Charlies "sticky" thread above but come unstuck halfway through. After going into the browser screen, i loaded Gran Turismo 3, pressed eject and the gold disc came on the screen. While still holding the eject button, the tray should eject for me to load my Spiderman backup, but this is not happening. Is there something ive missed here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 (Just messing around)You said you were still holding eject... After the gold disc appears you are supposed to release the eject button.... PS2 DVDR Backups: (need to have an Original DVD PS2 Game with a high TOC) • Turn on the PS2 without a game in. • Choose Browser. • Press EJECT, then insert your Original DVD Game. • Press and Hold EJECT to close the tray. Keep EJECT pressed until the game registers (a gold disc will appear). • Release EJECT, the tray will auto eject, and stay ejected for 6 seconds. • Insert your DVDR game and wait for the tray to close. • Press X to load the game.

thanks for your reply BG. I tried the proceedure again, put Gran Turismo in the drive while pressing the eject button so it would be registered by the PS2 with the gold disc appearing. When I released the eject button, the tray still wouldnt eject for me to swap with the backup. Is there anything else i can try? Should I use a different original besides Gran Turismo? Thanks for your help.
