after installing the chip and it not working, i got myself a more powerful magnifier and saw a solder bridge between E+F. After fixing it I put the ps2 back together with expectations of it working and was sad to see it still did not work. After a few more time of trying and reading the forums it came down to a cold solder joint on scex,now all my backups and originals work with no problem. I then made a backup of the getaway and it would not boot up but everything else would, is there a problem backing up the getaway or is it a bad disk? I use apple and verbatim dvd-r.

Is it a v7? Some v7s only like Traxdata and then only after doing Laser Azimuth Adjustment.

no its a ver. 4 i tried the game on a buddy's ps2 and it did not boot, so it must be a bad disk and will try to back it up again.
