is it possible too play my copied audio
cd's on my unmodded x--box
or even mp3's

When you want to play a copied CD, use a CD-RW. Most XBoxes won't read a CD-R.

As for MP3s, I don't think so, but I don't know never tried it.

yep really depends on drive that is in box - i was lucky and the cheapest CD-Rs works fine with my box - only audio - mp3 works not (no player in M$ dash, duh!)

some cd-rs work with some dvd drives
i believe thompsons
but they have trouble with working with most

so far ive moddded xboxes with:
2 Matrixes
3 Xbits

My xbox!:
-250 gig
-XBIT
-4981.06 x2
-orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen
-Component cable

my problem...solved?!:
-one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?! :mad:

i think i have a samsung DVD drive in my box - i read somewhere else that i'ts the one that reads most media...
