Anyone need UnSafedisc??

Hi folks.

I've had plenty of emails from peeps in need of Unsafedisc2 and safedisc analyser, as Gamefix appear to be having afew probs at the mo.

I've set up an account at ####://www.kturn.com

PLease take heed of the warning in the readme, as this account should be empty, except for the instructions. Also, to increase your own safety, download and scan this readme first, as it may be tampered with by some pillock.

login as : houseofcrisps

password : crispeater

follow the instructions in the readme file to download...

betablocker (english)
safedisc analyser
UnSafedisc 2.xx.xx

I will be adding other files later today so check back later.
n.b. this is a limited service for the moment

@TonyG

I actually have less time than I'd like!!
If you saw the number of mails I get asking for this stuff, then you'd understand why I decided to put it elsewhere!
Then hopefully I'll get more time to myself!!

i'm not sure how far Yahoo spies on its user ( i know they place lots of cookies and that damn camera ads always appear when using Y!) but i can suggest putting your stuff in 'Groups' or 'Clubs' in yahoo.

they have 20MB limit, but so far i put mp3s there(disguised) without noticed and maybe getting closed because of it.
you don't need to log in or so to download the files - so if wanted, I can put un SD2 on my Y!site later on.

let me know.

The K-turn site seems to working fine. I've just downloaded the Unsafe disk tools and instructions ect. Why 'o' why is the help file archived using Ace???

Oh yeah, before I go - Does anybody know whether I can remove the Safedisk copy protection from a backup if the backup isn't a 1:1 copy. Excuse me if the terminology isn't spot-on correct, I have to confess to being a newbie to this.

Cheers for your help...

Hi matey.

Regards your first question about using WinACE, it's because winace is a better compression software, more usable, and although winzip maybe in more use at the mo, it looks like WinACE will become the 'defacto' archiving software of the foreseeable future.

And secondly, regards your question about using UnSafedisc2 with an imperfect copy...it is highly unlikely you'll get it to work as the game must be fully installed and be able to run (i.e. have a good cd in the cdrom) so that unsafedisc can unwrap the game loader.

Hi folks again.

As i could see any site has broken links to a valid unsafedisc download. I found a working downloading site. Here you are:

Ok,

I'm putting together one complete package of R!SC UnSafedisc tools and it will be up soon (hopefully). It will include UNSD1 & 2 and also the SD Analyzer. I've written some notes to help people use the program as well.

Hopefully this should ease the questions about SD1 and SD2. I'll let you people know soon, later when its up.

Crispy,
cool. I guess that should help heaps more than my little TXT file. I tried to access the K-turn site but it didn't make it (says can't find the site). Can we have a look on that help file somewhere?

hello folks,

I've put together a set of UNSD tools, it has the safedisc analyzer in it as well. The files is located on:

####://groups.yahoo.com/group/churchie/files/

Select toolkits.exe with a right click and then Save As to download them. The files are in self extracting RAR archive. There are total 4 files, and the password is : rebelrecord

For those of you that are new to Safedisc v.1 and 2 protections, I have included the text file (Unsafedisc Instructions.txt) in the archive there to help you get started on protection measures.

Rev

ps: Crispy, how ya doin'? Haven't got any mails from you yet, so I can't include the GUI help file in the package. Maybe later on...
