Record and Verify VCD
Has anyone been able to use the "check" (bit by bit comparison/verification of the copy with the original) feature of cdrwin? Supposedly, as it was said in the help file, there is an "operations" tab near the bottom of the page, and from there several options can be accessed including the "record and check" option which I am after.
As far as I can see in my copy, there is no "operations" tab. An "action" tab exists though, but the option I was looking for wasn't present. I was just wondering if anyone has been able to use that feature, and if yes, where it can be found. Please indicate the version used because I suspect that it was probably available in previous versions and the info about it remained in the present manual. By the way, I'm using CDRWIN 5.05.001 English (UK) version. And also, is there a way to record a vcd image in cdrwin? I don't mean a direct copy from an existing vcd, but rather, a vcd you authored yourself and instead of burning it immediately, just want to build an image of it instead. All the other formats (audio, data, etc.) readily allowed for an image to be build instead. But in the vcd options menu the feature doesn't appear. Many thanks ----- oh, by the way, I would really appreciate it if you can suggest an alternative program (or method) that would suit my needs. All I want to do is either: -author a vcd and record it with verification (the "check" feature I was mentioning) -author a vcd and record it into an iso or cdi image file (I have discjuggler for verification, but discjuggler doesn't author vcds) Thanks again |
