Burn to HD or Exact 1 to 1 copy?

Which is the best way to back up games? Burning an image to the Hard Drive or making a 1 to 1 copy?

BG is on a distinguished road
It really depends on the condition of the original you are trying to back up.....

If it is in good shape..... Then a direct 1:1 copy is fine.....

If it has scratches....... It can be hard to read and cause the drive you are reading the game with to have to slow down to read the data correctly thus causing errors......

When in doubt....... Copy to the hard drive first......

Thanks guys. I always burn to HD. I took out my DVD drive and installed my A04 along with a CD burner on the other drive. That way I only use my A04 for DVD's and the CD Burner for CD's.
