PS2 + Charlie + Bill = Much Fun

I must say........Darn nice job!!! I had 2 PS2's done by Bill and chips from Charlie.. I have made backup's of a lot of my games on Ritek - dark purple bottom - and everything works great....

Maintenance issues? How often should I clean laser?
Should I stay away from cd based games or are Cd's on good media ok? What media for CD?

Backing up all of my EA sports games? Are there special instructions?

Oh.......and I have been recording and verifying.....
Can I just record? Seems to be a fster way to go?

Thanx all

Glad to hear everything is working out good for you.
I would clean the laser about every month or two. Use can play cd games no problem. Any name brand cdr will work fine. The ps2 isn't too picky when it comes to cdr media. Nothing special for EA games, just use CloneCd for the cd based games. You can skip the verify stage, it isn't necessary.
