Unhappy HELP!!!!! im a newbie

I have recently been given a liteon 52x cd-rw and a copy of alcohol 120, the problem is I don’t know how to work out what data type a disc is? E.g. CD, CD+, safedisc, etc

Also what are the advantages of creating virtual drives and images?

Download this tool to identify the protection (if any) on a disk you are trying to copy.

By creating a virtual drive you are able to 'mount' images of games onto it. This allows you to safely put away the cd and use the image just like it was a cd in a drive.
