dms3 can anyone help

the reason for posting this here is we have a problem,we been in contact with dms3 team through guichi a few times now and basically being told they have tested it ,hmmm but mine aint working.being part of a respected supply/install team, asking for advice and not shouting our mouths we expected a little better support

v7 pal 37 pin

v6(could be v5 but numbers are warn and im looking through glue, full bios can be got if needed) 37 pin socket

both machine pins layout are the same, both machines tested with numerous non swap chips, all work ( i,m sure with some thought u can work out wires are all fully tested)

dms3 was pluged into v7 all went well flashed it

dms3 was pluged in v5/v6as soon as u switch on ps2 it black screens,no browser or nothing.only way to get the ps2 to work as normal is to turn it on holding eject( turn off mod chip),then ps2 acts as if no chip is installed,i tried same flash disk agan obviously no joy rsod as chip was turned off

this is same fault as they mention on there site, but it works fine in the v7 so faulty chip no i have np flashing it ,if they got the correct flash (hmm i thought thats what i already done

retested v7 with dms3 still working fine
v5/v6 still working fine with all other chips

anyone had similar problems?,tryed swapping chip from 1 mc to another?

anyone got any ideas

anyone want to check my install norwich ,although i think other chips booting proves wiring is good.all points are covered with numerous other chips except c eject but i treble checked it and verified it good connection as its used to disable the dms3,only way i can get the v5 not to black screen

There is a review of the dms3 chip on a v.5 on ps2newz.net by LOD. Gp there and contact him and see if he had the same problem.

Probably some things you have already investigated but the reset wire on the dms3 is shown going to the pad next to the one shown for the messiah and other chips. Also the scex wire is shown going to the diode below the one for messiah but I am assuming that it is a misplacement of the arrow. I have seen the same mistake on the installation diagram for the3 chips.
