Using DVD2One

Can anyone give a little more information on how to use this method of copying DVDs? I know I should search the old posts for this kinda stuff but I have looked pretty thoroughly and a few things have left my perplexed:

how do you change the quality of encoding? (I saw no option to do this when I used it)
and despite someone's claim that dvd decrypter takes 20mins and dvd2one takes 15mins or something it turned out for me that it was 50 and 40 mins respectively....is that normal?

You really need V1.0.2.

With reference to how long things take, this depends a lot on the specification of your PC.

You shouldn't be getting an error message when you start the program so try the latest version.
